Ellen became a broker in 2015 after working for the IBM Corporation for 32 years. After living all over the U.S., she moved to Port Townsend in 2010 because it offered exactly what she was looking for -- a small town with a big heart, spectacular views at every turn, interesting and engaging people, and endless outdoor activities. Selling real estate was a natural next step, combining her business acumen with her passion for bringing people together with the right property.

As someone who has made numerous corporate and voluntary moves throughout her life, Ellen can empathize with clients irrespective of the motivation behind the move. She knows that even if a move represents a lifelong dream, it's still stressful. Her mission is to make your entire transition, not just the real estate transaction, a positive experience. She knows people's lives, livelihood, families, friendships, and finances are interwoven into the decision to buy or sell a home. Ellen is passionate about animal rights causes, and donates to many local animal welfare/rescue organizations. It is her belief that if you get up in the morning working to make the world a better place, you become a better person and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
